📊 Update: Old Reports Now Retired

With the successful rollout and adoption of our new Reports, we’ve now fully retired the old reporting system.

✅ Why This Change?

The new Reports have been live for some time and provide improved performance and clearer insights. All previous dependencies on the old reports have been resolved, and there’s no longer a need to maintain both versions.

🆕 What You Can Expect

  • Only the new Reports are now available in the Portal.

  • All key functionality from the old reports has been carried over or improved.

  • You’ll continue to enjoy enhanced filtering, performance tracking, and export options in the updated experience.

🎯 Why This Matters

This change keeps the reporting experience faster, more consistent, and easier to support—so you can focus on making decisions based on the most up-to-date data.

🔄 Update: Improved Webchat Lead Accuracy in Portal Reporting

To ensure that Webchat Leads reflect only genuine business opportunities, we've made important improvements to how Webchat Leads are identified and displayed across the Portal.

✅ What’s New?

We've enhanced the logic that determines when a visitor interacting with the webchat should be considered a Webchat Lead and shown in your Prospect View, Company View, and Reporting.

🧠 Smarter Lead Identification

A visitor will only be marked as a Webchat Lead if all the following conditions are met:

  1. Business Domain Provided by Visitor The contact information must come directly from the visitor, not the sales agent.

  2. Valid Business Domain (Not Personal Email) The email address must be a business domain, not from private providers like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, Zoho, etc.

  3. Verified in Sopro Data The domain must exist in Sopro’s verified database, and we must be able to pull the associated company details.

  4. Not from Internal or Test Users Email addresses from internal domains like sopro.io will never be classified as Webchat Leads to avoid skewing reports with test traffic.

📉 What’s Been Removed?

  • Any previously marked Webchat Leads that used personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Outlook) or were linked to dummy companies have been removed from:

    • Prospect View

    • Company View

    • Portal Reporting

🔍 These conversations will still appear in the Webchat Inbox as usual and will retain the Webchat Lead flag for internal tracking purposes.

🎯 Why This Matters

These improvements help you:

  • Focus only on high-quality, verified business prospects.

  • Avoid clutter from internal test traffic and invalid leads.

  • See accurate company data for each lead.

🔁 Update: Improved Shuffle Functionality in Email Template Preview

We've made an important enhancement to the Shuffle Recipient feature in the Email Templates section to ensure a better preview experience when working with generative messaging.

🧠 What Was the Issue?

Previously, when users clicked Shuffle Recipient in the Portal preview, the system would cycle through the same set of 100 prospects—without generating a new message for each shuffle. This meant that even if your generative instructions were updated, the displayed message could remain the same, making it difficult to see how your changes impacted the output.

✅ What’s Changed?

Now, when you click Shuffle Recipient, the system will:

  • Select a new prospect from your audience (not just recycle the original 100).

  • Generate a fresh message using your latest generative instructions.

🎯 Why This Matters

With this update, you can now:

  • Clearly see how changes to generative instructions affect the tone, style, and content of messages.

  • Preview a more diverse and realistic set of outreach examples.

  • Fine-tune messaging quality with confidence.
