Indirect Leads: Uncovering the Hidden Value of Sopro

Indirect Leads is our way of capturing and attributing this full spectrum of lead activity generated by our outbound campaigns. It goes beyond the direct responses we've traditionally tracked, diving deeper to uncover leads that have been influenced by our outreach but may not have responded directly.

By incorporating Indirect Leads into our reporting, we'll be painting a much more accurate picture of our campaigns' performance. This holistic view will allow us to better understand the full impact of our outbound efforts.

Indirect Leads works by using the existing CRM integration that we have with clients, and matching newly created leads/deals with what the activity data that we already store.

Apart from the new reports, when a prospect is marked as an Indirect Lead, the event will be reflected in the following areas of the Client Portal:

  • Prospects Page (All prospects, Leads) – Displayed in the side menu.

  • Prospect Details Page – Displayed within the prospect's details.

  • Companies Page (All companies, Leads) – Displayed in the side menu.

  • Company Details Page – Displayed within the company's details.

  • Intent Tracker – Visible in Prospects tab.

A new column labeled "Indirect Lead" will be added to the Prospects page. Users can add this column via the column selection dropdown. This column will not be displayed by default but can be enabled as needed. Once the column is added, users will be able to filter the list to display only prospects or companies that have a Indirect Lead event appended to them.

The Intent column in Companies page is now updated. Companies that have a Indirect Lead event at the company or prospect level will display a Indirect Lead label under the Intent column.

Transition from MQL/SQL to New Lead and Intent Definitions

Where found: Client Portal: Prospects (All prospects / Leads); Companies (All Companies/Leads); Intent tracker > Prospects

We are excited to introduce a new terminology which resulted from the new Portal Reports, where the traditional concepts of Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) and Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) are now replaced with a more streamlined approach: Lead and Intent.

These changes are now applied to the following Portal pages: Prospects (All prospects / Leads); Companies (All Companies/Leads); Intent tracker > Prospects

Many of our clients are unfamiliar with the MQL/SQL terminology, making it harder for them to interpret their data effectively.

The new Reports will now focus on the definitions of Lead and Intent, providing more relevant insights aligned with the needs of our clients. The Lead/Intent breakdown is as follows:
