Client Portal updates
Update: Intent Tracker No Longer Requires IP Match Targeting #CX
We’ve made it easier to start seeing Intent Tracker data in the Portal.
What’s changed Previously, to view visiting companies in Intent Tracker, your campaign needed to have at least one IP Match targeting set up. This is no longer required.
How it works now
As soon as the website plugin is installed, visiting companies will appear in Intent Tracker — even if your campaign has no IP Match targeting.
If the website plugin is not installed, you’ll still see an empty screen.
If there’s no IP Match targeting, the visiting companies will be shown without Qualified/Unqualified tags.
Benefit to you
See Intent Tracker visits sooner, without waiting to configure IP Match targeting.
Gain early insight into website traffic as soon as the plugin is live.
Once IP Match Targeting is configured, please backdate the changes to ensure the relevant companies are assigned with their "Qualified" tag.
Bug Fix: Profile Picture Editing Restored in Client Portal #CX
We’ve fixed an issue that was preventing users from updating their profile picture in the Client Portal.
What was happening When clicking on your profile picture in My account settings, nothing happened — even though it looked like it should be clickable.
What’s changed
Clicking your profile picture now opens a window where you can upload or change your image, as expected.
Benefit to you
You can now easily personalise your account by adding or updating your profile picture without any issues.
Bug Fix: Subject Lines Now Display Correctly in Client Portal #CX
We’ve fixed an issue where some subject lines in the Prospects tab of the Client Portal were shown incorrectly when viewing a prospect’s reply.
What was happening
In certain campaigns, subject lines in the email chain appeared with the prospect’s email address included, even though they weren’t sent that way.
The actual emails (in Gmail or other inboxes) showed the correct subject lines — the issue was only in how they were displayed on the Portal.
What’s changed
Subject lines in the Portal now accurately match the ones that were actually sent.
No more extra or incorrect text in the subject line display.
Benefit to you
Accurate email thread details for better context when reviewing prospect replies.
Internal process updates
New Feature: View, Edit, and AI-Review Additional Instructions Directly in the Portal #Ops #CS
We’ve introduced a major update that allows CS and Ops users to work with Additional Instructions for each email stage directly in the Sopro Portal — without switching between platforms.
What’s new
1. View & Edit Additional Instructions in the Portal
When you open an email template for a specific prospect, you’ll now see:
Prospect details at the top
Full email sequence with:
Message Output (left side)
Additional Instructions (right side)
Live Additional Instructions tab → Read-only, showing the current live instructions from Sodastream.
Test Additional Instructions tab → Editable, so you can adjust instructions before going live.
These new fields are only visible to sopro.io users — clients will not see them.
2. AI Review for Additional Instructions
Click AI Review to get instant suggestions in three categories:
Revised Additional Instructions
Adjust Campaign Brief
Remove Additional Instructions
Works in both Live (read-only) and Test (editable) tabs.
You can make changes directly in Test mode using AI feedback.
3. Save Your Test Instructions
Save button (per stage) → Updates that stage’s Test Additional Instructions in Sodastream and refreshes the Portal.
Save All button → Batch-save changes for all stages in the sequence.
Once saved, messaging is regenerated using your updated Test Additional Instructions.
4. New ‘Test Additional Instructions’ Field in Sodastream
In Sodastream → Email Templates → Generative Template Settings, you’ll now see a Test Additional Instructions field (read-only).
This field auto-populates with updates made in the Portal.
5. One-Click Transfer to Live
A new Transfer to Additional Instructions button lets you copy Test Additional Instructions into the live Additional Instructions box without manual copy/paste.
A confirmation modal will ensure no accidental transfers:
Yes → Transfer and clear the Test box
Cancel → No changes made
After saving changes, the live instructions update immediately.
Benefit to you:
Manage instructions and messaging in one place.
Test, refine, and push updates live quickly.
Reduce manual errors and save time with AI assistance and one-click transfers.
Update: Included/Excluded Job Titles Now Visible in Companies & Prospect Search in Sodastream #Ops
We've implemented a new update in the Companies & Prospect Search, and implemented a modal that shows the job titles that are included and/or excluded from the search.
What’s changed
New modal for View Audience in Companies & Prospect Search ⇒ Campaign Audiences
Visibility for excluded job titles in a specific search
Benefit to you:
Overview of excluded job titles from the Audiences created, which would ease the mentorship process of onboarding new Ops members.
Update: All New Messages Now Generated with GPT-4.1 Master Template
We’ve upgraded our generative email process to use GPT-4.1 for improved quality and consistency across all stages of your campaigns.
What’s changed
1. New Default Master Template in Sodastream
The new master template — Generative Email Master Prompt – All Stages – GPT-4.1 (ID:53) — will now be used by default when:
Creating new templates (post-deployment)
Cloning existing templates (post-deployment)
Transferring Test Additional Instructions to Additional Instructions
Note: Templates created before deployment will not be affected.
2. Message Generation in the Portal
All messages generated and displayed in the Sopro Portal will now use the new GPT-4.1 master template by default, including:
Full email sequences when Stage 1 is selected
Chasers when only a specific stage is selected (other than Stage 1)
This applies even if the template in Sodastream has a different master template selected — the Portal will always use the GPT-4.1 master template when generating messages.
Benefit to you:
Higher-quality, more consistent messaging powered by GPT-4.1.
A unified generation process across Sodastream and the Portal.
No extra setup needed — the system applies the new template automatically.
Update: Re-Generate Option Now Works for M1 Templates Only #Ops
We’ve updated how the Re-generate option works in email profiles.
What’s changed
When M1 is selected in an email profile, using the Re-generate option will now only re-generate M1 templates.
Other templates in the sequence will remain unchanged.
Benefit to you
More control when updating your initial outreach email.
Avoids unnecessary changes to later sequence emails.
Update: No Campaign Audience Modal for Intent Tracker Email Profiles #Ops
We’ve made a small change to make working with Intent Tracker email profiles faster and simpler.
From now on, when you activate a send schedule that’s linked to an Intent Tracker email profile, the system will skip showing the "Select Campaign Audience" modal.
Why?
Prospects are automatically transferred to Intent Tracker email profiles.
We don’t create campaign audiences for these profiles, so there’s no need to select one manually.
What this means for you:
Just turn on the send schedule, and it will activate immediately — no extra pop-up, no extra clicks.
The system automatically detects Intent Tracker email profiles by the tag assigned to them, so you don’t need to do anything differently.
Update: AdSync Channel Selection Now in Campaign Settings #Ops #CS
We’ve made it easier to manage AdSync channel coverage by adding options to Campaign Settings.
What’s changed
You’ll now find AdSync channel selection under: SS → Campaign Settings → Multichannel Activities.
When Audience AdSync is ticked, three new checkboxes will appear:
Google
Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
LinkedIn
Selecting any of these will mark that channel as active in the new dashboards (Engage tab → AdSync Outreach section).
How it works
If AdSync is activated via the AdSync Inclusion toggle in the campaign audience, the matching selection will also be activated in Campaign Settings automatically.
Turning AdSync off in the campaign audience won’t change your selections in Campaign Settings.
The system will track when each checkbox is activated or deactivated.
Benefit to you
More direct control over which AdSync channels are active.
Clearer visibility in dashboards without extra navigation.
Bug Fix: Excluded Domains Now Fully Respected in Campaign Sends #Ops
We’ve fixed an issue where prospects whose company domain was on a campaign’s exclusion list could still receive emails if their email address domain was different.
What was happening In some cases, even if a company’s domain was added to the exclusions list, prospects linked to that company could still be sent emails — especially when:
The prospect’s email address had a different domain from the company domain (e.g.,
caretradeuk.orginstead ofcare-trade.org).The exclusion was added either before or after the prospect was added, but the system didn’t update their status to “Excluded” in time.
What’s changed
The system now checks both company domain and email domain at every stage: when uploading data, during sends, and when using integrations like Automatic Import, Send Files, IP Match, and Engage.
Prospects will now be automatically marked as Excluded as soon as an exclusion is added — no matter whether the exclusion or the prospect was added first.
This ensures that no excluded domain will receive campaign emails.
Benefit to you
Greater accuracy in respecting your exclusion lists.
No more manual double-checking — the system will handle it automatically.
Bug Fix: Industry Lists Now Match Across Search and Campaign Settings #Ops #CS
We’ve resolved an issue where the industry group list shown in Companies & Prospects Search did not fully match the list shown in Campaign Settings for IP Match & Engage targeting.
What was happening Some industry groups — such as Mobile Games, Horticulture, Engineering Services, and Professional Services — were missing from the IP Match & Engage targeting list, even though they appeared in Companies & Prospects Search.
What’s changed
The industry lists are now fully aligned across both areas of the system.
Any industry you see when creating a new search in Companies & Prospects Search will now also appear in IP Match & Engage targeting.
Benefit to you
Consistent targeting options across all parts of the platform.
No more confusion or missing industry groups when setting up IP Match & Engage campaigns.
