New Search Function in Reporting > Filter Modal for Easier Review Calls #CX

We’ve added a powerful new search feature to the Reports > filter side modal to help CS and OPS teams quickly find what they need—especially during review calls.

🔍 What’s New?

You can now search within the filter modal by:

  • Approach

  • Email Group

  • Email Address

🧠 Why It Matters

Some campaigns have long lists of email profiles, making it time-consuming to find specific ones. With this new search, CS and OPS teams can now quickly filter and focus on just the relevant profiles—just like in the old reporting view that many teams were still using for its ease.

This makes it faster and easier to:

  • Prepare for review calls

  • Focus on a particular strategy or sender group

  • Provide clearer insights to clients

Product/Process updates affecting clients

Improved CRM Backdate Logic for More Accurate Prospect Transfers #CX

We’ve updated how SodaStream handles CRM backdates to ensure that prospects are transferred with the most relevant event data, helping you maintain cleaner, more accurate records in your CRM.

🧠 What’s Changed?

When CRM Backdate is activated, the system now follows a structured logic based on the type of integration setup:

🔁 If CRM is integrated on Responders:

When a prospect responds, the system will:

  1. Check for a Lead event → If found, transfer the prospect with that Lead event.

  2. 🔍 If no Lead event, check for an Intent event → If found, transfer the prospect with that Intent event.

  3. 🚫 If neither exists, the system will not transfer the prospect.

📬 If CRM is integrated on Delivered:

When a prospect receives an email, the system will:

  1. Check for a Lead event → If found, transfer the prospect with that Lead event.

  2. 🔍 If no Lead event, check for an Intent event → If found, transfer the prospect with that Intent event.

  3. 📦 If neither exists, the system will fall back to the standard "delivered" setup → The prospect will be transferred with basic company and contact details.

✅ Why It Matters

This update ensures that your CRM is populated with the most meaningful data available, whether it’s a Lead, Intent, or fallback event—giving your team a clearer picture of prospect engagement at all stages.

Fix: Ensured Proper Event Syncing to Pipedrive for Imported Prospects #CX

We’ve resolved an issue where events were not properly synced to Pipedrive when a second event was added to a prospect who had already been imported.

🛠 What Was the Issue?

If a prospect was imported into Pipedrive and a second event was created for that prospect (whether Lead or Intent), the new event was not synced into Pipedrive.

✅ What’s Fixed?

Now, when a second event is created for a prospect already in Pipedrive, the system will correctly sync the new event, following the appropriate event prioritization:

  • Intent events will overwrite other Intent events.

  • Lead events will overwrite Intent events and another Lead event.

This ensures that Pipedrive always reflects the latest, most relevant event for each prospect.

✨ Why It Matters

This fix ensures your Pipedrive records stay up-to-date with the most current event data, improving the accuracy of your prospect management and outreach efforts.

Internal process updates

New Company Type Filter for Enhanced Audience Targeting #CS #Ops

We’ve added a new “Company Type” filter to the Companies and Prospect Search tab, making it easier than ever to tailor your outreach to the right businesses.

🔍 What’s New?

You can now filter companies by their type when building audiences. Simply click on the Company Type field to view a list of available options, which includes:

  • Privately Held

  • Public Company

  • Unknown

  • Nonprofit

  • Government Agency

  • Educational Institution

  • Partnership

  • Self-owned

The filter supports autocomplete and allows you to select one or multiple company types for more precise targeting.

🎯 Why It Matters

This update helps you quickly find the right companies to reach out to—whether you're focusing on public companies, targeting nonprofits, or avoiding unknown types—so your campaigns are smarter and more effective.

Improved Boolean Search Validation in Job Title Filter #Ops

We’ve enhanced the Job Title filter in the Prospects search to ensure more accurate and reliable results when using Boolean strings.

🛠 What Was the Issue?

Previously, if you entered a Boolean string like (CEO OR Founder OR Owner) but included an extra space (for example, after the closing parenthesis), the system didn’t interpret the string correctly. This could result in irrelevant job titles being shown—without any error or warning to indicate the issue.

✅ What’s Changed?

We’ve improved the system’s backend validation so it now automatically handles extra spaces and formatting quirks in your Boolean string. This ensures the search behaves as expected and returns only the most relevant job titles.

🔎 Why It Matters

With this update, your prospect searches will be more precise and error-proof, helping you build high-quality audiences without the frustration of troubleshooting Boolean syntax.

Fix: Improved Parsing for Boolean Job Title Filters with Plural Terms #Ops

We’ve fixed an issue that affected Boolean search logic in the Job Title filter when using certain plural terms.

🛠 What Was the Issue?

If your Boolean string included both "Human Resource" and "Human Resources"—for example: (People OR Manager) AND NOT ("Human Resource" OR "Human Resources") —our system didn’t parse the string correctly, which could lead to inaccurate search results.

Notably, the filter worked fine if you used only "Human Resources" on its own.

✅ What’s Fixed?

The Boolean parser has been improved to handle combinations of singular and plural terms like these correctly—ensuring your job title filters return accurate and consistent results.

✨ Why It Matters

With this fix, you can use more nuanced Boolean strings with confidence, knowing that the search logic will interpret plural variations as expected.

Improved Feedback When Saving Audiences #Ops

We’ve made a small but important usability improvement to prevent confusion and duplicate saves when creating or editing an audience.

🛠 What Was the Issue?

In some cases, saving an audience could take a few extra seconds. During that time, users weren’t sure if the “Save” button was working—leading to multiple clicks and sometimes duplicate audience entries.

✅ What’s New?

Now, when you click “Save”:

  • A spinner will appear to show that your audience is being saved

  • The Save button will be temporarily disabled until the process is complete

✨ Why It Matters

This update gives you clear feedback that your audience is being saved and helps prevent accidental duplicates—making for a smoother, more reliable experience.

Fix: Generative Template Settings Now Clone Correctly #CS #Ops

We’ve resolved an issue affecting the cloning of Generative email templates in SodaStream.

🛠 What Was the Issue?

When cloning a Generative template, the new version appeared without any of the Generative Template Settings—meaning you had to manually reconfigure everything.

✅ What’s Fixed?

Now, when you clone a Generative template, all associated settings—such as tone, structure, and personalization options—are copied over automatically to the new template.

✨ Why It Matters

This fix saves time and ensures consistency across your campaigns, so you can duplicate high-performing templates without any extra setup.

Fix: Invoices and Credits Now Generated Immediately When Campaign Goes Live #CS #Ops

We’ve resolved an issue that was affecting Arrears clients when launching campaigns.

🛠 What Was the Issue?

When clicking the Go Live button, no invoice was being generated, and the credit balance appeared as 0—even though a record was created in the backend. This caused confusion and delays, especially since credits would only align correctly the following day due to overnight processing.

✅ What’s Fixed?

Now, when an Arrears client clicks Go Live, the system will:

  • Immediately generate the invoice

  • Correctly apply the campaign credits to your balance

✨ Why It Matters

This fix ensures a smoother and more transparent campaign launch, with real-time visibility of your invoice and credit usage—no more waiting or guessing.

New “Other” Option for Sending Mechanism + Improved Domain Setup Flow #Ops

We’ve made it easier to set up domains in SodaStream when you’re using a sending mechanism outside of the default options.

🆕 What’s New?

When adding or purchasing a domain, the Sending Mechanism dropdown now includes a new “Other” option, along with a customizable input field.

  • Selecting “Other” will prompt you to specify your sending mechanism (e.g. “Microsoft”, “Zoho”, etc.).

  • This input field is mandatory when “Other” is selected, ensuring accurate setup.

  • The custom sending mechanism you enter will also be included in the notification sent to your IT admins to keep everyone aligned.

🔒 Cleaner Dropdown: “HMail” Removed

To streamline the process and avoid confusion, “HMail” has been removed from the Sending Mechanism dropdown options.

✅ Why It Matters

This update gives you more flexibility when configuring your domain and ensures all stakeholders—especially your IT team—have the correct information for a smooth setup.

Fix: Industry Selection No Longer Removed During IP Match & Engage Backdate #Ops

We’ve resolved a bug in the IP Match and Engage Targeting section of the Campaign Details page that could affect selected industry filters when using the Backdate feature.

🛠 What Was the Issue?

When selecting all industries and saving, everything appeared to work correctly. But if you then clicked the Backdate button, the system would:

  • Show a green confirmation message

  • Start the backdate process ...but silently remove industries where the industry name matched the industry group name (e.g., “Legal” as both group and industry).

✅ What’s Fixed?

Now, all selected industries are retained—even if their names match their parent groups—when running a backdate. No data is lost, and your targeting remains exactly as intended.

✨ Why It Matters

This fix ensures more reliable targeting and prevents accidental exclusions in your IP Match & Engage campaigns, especially when working with comprehensive industry selections.
