🚀 Improvements
Optimization of Companies page
Where found: https://portal.sopro.io/companies-engaged
We have optimized the Companies page to improve its loading speed. This enhancement provides a smoother and faster experience for users, reducing wait times and improving overall navigation on the page. It leads to an enhanced customer experience, especially when managing large datasets.
Remove responder page from SS
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/Responder
Responses added from the Responder page do not log in the Portal, resulting in Responders/Leads that cannot be accounted for.
To address this issue, the Responder page has been removed. Operations teams should now use the SDR option on the Portal for the same purpose.
This change improves data integrity by ensuring all responses are accurately logged in the Portal, enhancing Lead accountability.
Deactivation of WU 2.0 Schedule on Domain Deletion Notification
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/WarmUpV2/WarmUpSchedule
Instances were identified where domains, after being deleted remained active in the SodaStream with the Warm-up process trying to continue sending emails, leading to errors and performance issues.
With this release, the system will automatically deactivate all Warm-up 2.0 schedules (Outbound/Inbound toggle off) in SodaStream when the final "Domain Deletion Notification" is triggered for IT Admins.
This update reduces the risk of errors and improves overall performance by preventing the system from attempting to send emails to inactive or deleted domains, helping to lower spam rates and other negative impacts on Warm-up 2.0 performance metrics.
Notification for activating a channel via campaign settings
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/Campaign/CampaignsList?status=true
When a checkbox is clicked in the campaign settings doe activating/deactivating a channel, an email notification will be sent to the Ops owner of the campaign, with their team lead CC’d. The email will come from [email protected].
This update ensures that Ops owners and their team leads are promptly informed whenever a checkbox is activated, improving campaign oversight and responsiveness.
Sender Info Lookup button renaming and new text boxes
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/Campaign/CampaignsList?status=true
To enhance the ease of populating Sender Info for the CS team, several UI and functional improvements have been made in the Messaging section under Campaign Settings.
The "Sender Info Lookup" button has been renamed to Auto-suggested Messaging. Clicking the Auto-suggested Messaging button sends a request to AIM Messaging to generate appropriate information for the following text boxes (from Company Description to USPs).
Upon clicking, a new set of text boxes will appear on the right side of the listed section. These boxes will be populated with information received from AIM.
A new button has been introduced, allowing the CS team to copy all content from the new (right) text boxes into the existing (left) text boxes for easy updating.
The content in the new text boxes is temporary and will not be saved. If the page is refreshed, the new text boxes and their content will be cleared.
This update streamlines the process for CS teams to populate and update Sender Info, making the workflow more efficient and user-friendly without affecting page persistence.
Location used in Generative Messages
Where found: https://aim.sopro.io/Hyper
Currently, location data sent to AIM with each request for generative messages is not standardized, often including city, county/region, and country. This inconsistency sometimes results in generated messages using the city instead of the country when referencing a location.
From this release, the system will pass the State as the recipient's location to AIM, ensuring that location references are standardized.
Generated messages will consistently refer to the country when location data is used, improving message relevance. This also enhances the accuracy of messages generated in foreign languages, where the recipient's country is crucial for context.
New Planhat mapping
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/Campaign/EditNew?id=1512
New fields have been mapped from SodaStream to Planhat to ensure seamless data integration and reporting. The following fields are now automatically pulled and mapped:
Commercial Information
Audience Overview
Company Description (from Messaging)
Offering (from Messaging - "What sets them apart?")
SS Email Templates: DisableOpenTracking, DisableClickTracking & InlineImages TRUE by default
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/EmailTemplate/List
As part of our initiative to enhance email tracking and improve sending structures, all newly created email templates will now have specific settings implemented by default.
When creating a new template, the following three fields will be automatically set to ON:
DisableOpenTracking
DisableClickTracking
InlineImages
Users will have the flexibility to turn these settings OFF or ON at any time during the template creation or editing process.
Remove Open/Clicks columns
Where found: https://portal.sopro.io/email-templates
he Open and Clicks columns have been removed from all stages in the Portal. Since we'll stop tracking email opens/clicks, this change streamlines the user interface, reducing clutter and focusing attention on more relevant metrics.
🐞 Bug fixes
In the Portal, the templates generated pull information from Messaging 1 only
Where found: https://portal.sopro.io/email-templates
In the Portal > Email Templates, when campaigns have multiple Messaging sections set in SodaStream > Campaign Settings, generated templates incorrectly pull information exclusively from Messaging 1 if the Email Profile is configured with a different Messaging section. This issue extends to other stages as well.
This release addresses the issue by ensuring that the generated templates now pull information from the appropriate Messaging section based on the configuration in the Email Profile, rather than defaulting to Messaging 1.
Localized letters not to be in bold
Where found: https://portal.sopro.io/email-templates
A bug was identified where certain non-English alphabet characters appeared in bold unexpectedly when used in email templates. This release includes a fix that ensures non-English alphabet characters are displayed with consistent formatting, without random bold styling.
SS Warm-up 2.0: Unable to add addresses
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/WarmUpV2/WarmUpSchedule
When creating a Warm-up 2.0 schedule for certain email addresses, users encountered an error message indicating that the address had already been added to warm-up, even though the email address was not visible in SodaStream.
This issue has occurred 3-4 times in the past 30 days and required support via database update tickets to resolve.
A fix has been implemented to prevent incorrect error messages when adding email addresses to the Warm-up 2.0 schedule. The system will now correctly process and display email addresses within the Warm-up interface.
Warm-Up 2.0: Incorrect passwords
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/WarmUpV2/WarmUpSchedule
When users create a warm-up schedule in SodaStream, the email passwords for the accounts set for warm-up are recorded in the EmailWarmupLive database. However, there are inconsistencies between the passwords recorded in SoproLiveDB and EmailWarmupLive, leading to login failures for sending outbound emails.
This release addresses the issue by ensuring that the warm-up schedule will now correctly record the app password if available, or the regular password when no app password exists.
This fix will resolve the inconsistencies in password recording, enabling successful logins for outbound emails and ensuring that warm-up schedules function correctly.
An email template for chaser can be saved without relating an Initial email template
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/EmailTemplate/List
When creating an email template for a send number greater than 1, users were able to save the template even if the selected email account (Email Profile) did not have an initial email template associated, leaving the Initial Email field empty.
This release introduces validation to prevent email templates from being saved without selecting an Initial Email when creating templates for send number > 1. An appropriate error message will now appear if no initial email is selected.
This validation ensures that all email templates have a proper initial email assigned, preventing potential issues in campaign execution and ensuring data consistency.
Portal: The unsubscribe link in the templates redirects users to the client's website
Where found: https://portal.sopro.io/email-templates
When navigating to the Portal (Dashboard/Prospects/Companies/Campaign Inbox), users clicking on the unsubscribe link within a prospect's email template were incorrectly redirected to the client’s website.
This release includes a fix where clicking on the unsubscribe hyperlink opens the unsubscribe link in a new tab. This fix prevents unwanted redirects to client websites, ensuring that unsubscribe actions are handled properly without user confusion or mis navigation.
Department options missing in 'Team Management'
Where found: https://sodastream.sopro.io/OpsTeam
The Department options were not visible on the Team Management page, affecting user ability to manage team structures effectively.
This release addresses the issue by restoring the missing Department options on the Team Management page.
