Generative Messaging Preview in Portal

Where found: Client Portal > Email templates

Portal users can now access and interact with generative email templates through the Email Templates tab on the Sopro Portal. This update introduces a dynamic and interactive approach to email template generation, providing users with the ability to view and generate new messages for different prospects on the fly.

Generative templates are now listed alongside standard templates without any changes to the table view.

When a user clicks on any email template, a new window opens displaying detailed information.

Users can see recipient information and the generated template for a randomly selected prospect.

For generative templates, a "Fallback" tab is included. This tab displays the fallback standard template that will be sent if the generative process fails.

Clicking the Shuffle button generates a new message for a new prospect, randomly selected from the active Campaign Audience.

Messages are generated live and appear after a 10-second delay, demonstrating that they are produced on the go.

Refresh button is introduced next to the Shuffle button. Clicking the Refresh button generates a new message for the same recipient. This feature shows that the generative process can produce an infinite series of different but equally good messages for any single prospect.

Improvements

Unsubscribe validation

Where found: SodaStream > Email templates

We have introduced a new feature to enhance the flexibility of email template creation. Users now have the option to bypass the validation for the unsubscribe variable in their email templates.

A new checkbox labeled "Don't Validate Unsubscribe" has been added to the email template creation and editing forms.

The checkbox is not ticked by default, ensuring that unsubscribe validation remains active unless explicitly disabled by the user. This will allow the teams to continue with the "Use text only" tests that are being conducted at the moment.

Once the checkbox is ticked, users can save the template regardless of the presence of the unsubscribe variable.

GSuite app password

In response to Gmail's recent changes and increased security measures, we have implemented an improved integration process for Gsuite email addresses within SodaStream Domains. This update ensures seamless functionality for email sends/responders.

• Less Secure Apps Turned Off: In compliance with Gmail's security enhancements, less secure app access should be disabled.

• Authenticator Activated: Should be enabled to provide an additional layer of security.

• 2-Step Verification Turned On: Further secured the account by enabling 2-step verification.

• An App Password should be generated specifically for integration with SodaStream Domains.

The generated App Password can be pasted into the created Gsuite email address field within SodaStream Domains.

A tick box next to the ‘Add App Password’ option is introduced and automatically checked upon entering the password.

Once these steps are completed the system can continue with sends and receiving responses.
